	Today more than ever post production professionals are required to deliver high quality creative output with diminishing budgets and tight deadlines. Our Final Cut Pro and Avid training courses are designed to give you the fast track towards employability and productivity. Our courses include multi-format delivery for platforms including tape, Youtube, web streaming, DVD and Blu-ray. Courses are designed to increase productivity and open channels of creativity by ensuring that your chosen editing platform becomes an extension of your imagination rather than a limitation to it. With the exception of discounted corporate training assignments we endeavour to restrict our courses to 2 students per course to ensure maximum personal attention by teaching at a pace that is in line with our student's level of experience and expectations. Final Cut Pro Support We offer free telephonic support for all graduates of Purple Mouse training courses. We are based in Fourways Johannesburg. On-site training is available on request.

	Michael has a broadcast editing career spanning 16 years. After paying dues as a VT operator and tape editor at the SABC he researched the advantages of storytelling with digital non-linear off-line and on-line editing platforms. Recognizing the need for skills transfer in the new democratic South Afica Michael attended train-the-trainer in Hollywood CA. and certified as an Avid Certified Instructor in 2001. In February 2004 Michael also attended Train-the-Trainer at Apple©, Santa Monica Calif. and attained Final Cut Pro Certified Pro and Final Cut Pro Certified Instructor status. Michael has recertified as a Pro Apps Instructor with subsequent releases of FCP versions 5, 6, 7 and FCP X. Previous training assignments include broadcasters ETV, Mnet, Supersport and SABC, filmmakers in the Okavango and video producers in Mombasa and Saudi Arabia. Michael has also lectured at AFDA, Rhodes Dept of Journalism and Durban University of Technology as well as Vega School of Branding. When time allows freelance editing assignments are undertaken to keep abreast of challenges that editors are regularly exposed to.
	Course hours are as follows: 09.00 - Course commences. 10.15 - 10.30 Break. 12.30 - 13.00 Lunch break. Snacks will be served at Purple Mouse. 14.15 - 14.30 Break. 16.00 Training ends.
